The Department of Supply Chain and Information Management is one of the departments in the School of Decision Sciences in The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. With the continuous growth of high-calibre manpower demand in the supply chain, transportation, logistics and information technology sectors, the department offers academic programmes and conduct research studies to support the future need of these sectors. The department aims to provide students with specialized knowledge in supply chain management, management science and information management for personal and professional career development. Students are encouraged to learn through both theories and practical applications in meeting the challenges ahead in their chosen careers. The department offers a broad-based business, supply chain and information management curriculum as well as foundation business and general education modules to meet local and regional demands in the Pearl-delta, Greater China and global context. Academic staff in the department are actively participated in research projects, conferences and publications to develop latest cutting-edge technologies and theories to support the teaching and research development of the institution.
