Augmented Reality in Art Appreciation: HSMC Clock Tower & Artwork Instant Drawing board

VR Centre (VRC) has developed HSMC clock tower with instant drawing and GPS function as a Augmented Reality (AR) Art Appreciation prototype. This in-house project is jointly developed with Department of Social Science, HSMC, to facilitate students in appreciating art and culture. Students can project a 3D interactive HSMC clock tower in a mobile digital device through a recognized image. Students could also develop their own creative artwork on top of the AR image with the use of instant drawing board, for example, students draw can be displayed on the virtual clock tower immediately.
