Van Gogh’s 3-in- 1 in VR arrives HSMC

The most famous paintings of Vincent van Gogh, namely The Starry Night, The Yellow

House, and The Bedroom, have arrived Virtual Reality Center (VRC) in the form of

virtual reality (VR)! In the centre, visitors can interactively and immersively walk in

the world of Van Gogh’s three paintings in 1 VR 3D scene. This VR scene was

developed in-house to stimulate the interest of students and staff in appreciating

post-impressionism artworks in 19 th century in an immersive and interactive VR

platform.

Guests are experiencing the walk-through in The Starry

Night using the VR CAVE system.

Overseas guests experienced the Van Gogh’s 3-in- 1 VR

Students enjoyed the Van Gogh’s art work in VRBD Center during the lessons.
