The Virtual Reality Centre (VRC) is delighted to announce that one of its supported projects, the DHL Express Virtual Reality project receives the Decision Analytics Outstanding Award 2023.
Funded by Quality Enhancement Support Scheme (QESS) offered by the HKSAR Education Bureau, the logistics-themed project focus on the stimulating air cargo screening, dangerous goods handling and warehouse operations at the DHL Cargo Warehouse. This collaborative project involves HSUHK, HKU SPACE and Hong Kong Chu Hai College, aiming to provide students and trainees with immersive training and an introduction to logistics operations.
The Decision Analytics Outstanding Award Ceremony 2023 took place on 8 July 2023 at the Fung Yiu King Hall, HSUHK. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Ir Dr Hon Lo Wai-kwok, GBS, MH, JP, LegCo (Engineering), HKSAR, who visited the Virtual Reality Centre to experience the latest release of the immersive VR scene, further highlighting the significance of the project.
