Talk of VR Development Process shared by Hong Kong Dance Event

A talk named “Cultural and Technology: Convergence of Chinese Dance, Martial Arts and Virtual Reality for Art Appreciation and Education” was organised by Virtual Reality Centre (VRC), Department of Art and Design (AAD) and Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) on 25th March. Hong Kong Dance Company also shared the VR development process they participated in here.

Over 170 people joined the talk though by onsite or online method.
This talk shared some videos, VR videos and some demonstrations such as a senior dancer’s demonstration.
“Q&A” section also conducted in the talk.

Ms Carolyn Yip, Project Manager, and Mr Ho-fei Ho, Senior Dancer, of the Hong Kong Dance Company, shared their experience, inspiration, and achievements of the interdisciplinary project.

Dr Patrick Mok, Assistant Professor, Department of Art and Design, who was a member of the expert team of the research study, participated as moderator in the talk.

At last, The organizer gave a souvenir to Hong Kong Dance Company and Group photos were also taken.
