The HSUHK Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) successfully hosted the HSUHK Teaching and Learning Forum 2023 on the 6 June 2023. This year, the forum centered around the theme “Teaching Excellence: Transform to Perform,” attracting educators and distinguished guests from various fields. Amongst the speakers, Dr Eugene Wong, the Director of the Virtual Reality Centre and one of the recipients of the HSUHK Teaching Excellence Awards, shared his invaluable insights during a parallel forum. Dr Wong shared his views on emerging technologies, particularly extended reality, and its seamless integration into the realm of teaching and learning by demonstrating how the existing immersive scenes can enhance students’ learning experience.
