Virtual Reality Centre co-organized with Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) an international Closing Plenary Forum in the Asia Logistics, Maritime and Aviation Conference (ALMAC) on 23 November 2022 in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). ALMAC is a yearly signature event in Hong Kong with more than 14,000 participants from over 50 countries and regions attending the 2-day conference each year. The theme of the plenary forum, titled “Leading in the New Era – Advancing Global Trading and Logistics Business with Meta Technologies in a Dynamic Landscape” was about leading in the global trading and logistics business with extended reality and emerging technologies in a dynamic landscape. Six prestigious speakers and moderator, from UNCTAD, DHL Express, McKinsey, Kerry Logistics, Inglobe Technologies and BPS Logistics Technology, shared views and outlook in the plenary discussion. The forum attracted 310 practitioners, academics, scholars and students participating in the event.
