The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) joined forces with the Virtual Reality Centre to organize an immersive visit as part of the “Get Ready for Next Internet Revolution – Web 3.0” project. The event, held on 15 September 2023, aimed to educate the public about the Web 3.0 ecosystem and foster the development of InnoTalents. The event was sponsored by the General Support Programme under the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) of the HKSAR Government. More than 30 participants, including SMEs from the digital entertainment sector, tertiary level students and individuals interested in exploring the future of Web3.0, experienced the latest development of the collaborative metaverse scenes, including the Tiger Balm Garden (Haw Par Mansion) and the beautiful 3D scenery of Van Gogh’s paintings.
