Virtual Reality Centre has recently helped the Policy for Sustainability Lab of The University of Hong Kong to develop a VR360 Virtual Tour Experience about Lai Chi Wo. The aim of the VR Tour is to introduce the farms and villages to the community as well as preserve the heritage and culture of Lai Chi Wo through the latest VR technologies. It also seeks to mobilise actions of the community on rural sustainability and preservation about the Hakka (客家) Village of Lai Chi Wo.
The VR360 experience tour is now showcased in one of the booths in the FARMFEST 2020 (本地漁農美食嘉年華2019) (Booth O82). This 14th FARMFEST 2020 will be held for three days, starting from today, in Fa Hui Park from 10am to 8pm. There are lots of organic products available in the booths.
