Virtual Reality Center (VRC) has developed and launched an Android Apps of HSUHK AR Mascot for students taking photos with the Mascot of HSUHK through the use of Augmented Reality technology. VRC and CTL have set up a booth to provide students with the facilities during the graduation ceremonies of the five schools in the universities in March and April 2021.
Upon scanning the designated icons with an AR mobile app, the HSUHK Panda Mascot will appear on the screen. Graduates and their families can take photos with the Mascot Panda. About 286 people had used the apps with about 150 photos taken.
