Conference Paper Presentation on IEEE TALE 2017

A research paper “The influence of learners’ openness to IT experience on the attitude and perceived learning effectiveness with virtual reality technologies” has been accepted and presented in the IEEE International Conference on Teaching, Assessment, and Learning for Engineering (TALE) in Hong Kong on 12-14 December 2017. The authors of the paper includes Dr. Eugene Wong, Dr. Kaylee Kong, and Dr. Ray Hui. This year the conference receives 184 submissions, including full papers, short papers and poster presentation. The results and deliverable of the project “The development of an education and research center with automatic virtual reality platform for 3D interactive learning and big data analytics” have been presented in the conference. The results on the analysis on the learners’ openness, attitude on learning and perceived learning effectiveness with Virtual Reality systems has also been shared. The project is supported by Quality Enhancement Support Scheme (QESS) of Education Bureau.
