Visit to School of Creative Media on Dunhuang and PLACE-Hampi VR Project

A site visit to School of Creative Media (SCM), The City University of Hong Kong, Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre has been carried out for 40 students who are studying a General Education module “Virtual Reality for Society (SCM2201)” on 26 September 2017 (Tuesday). Students visited the VR CAVE facilities and two virtual reality projects of SCM. The two projects visited are Pure Land: Inside the Mogao Grottoes at Dunhuang and PLACE-Hampi. SCM also shared some of the recent student projects. “Between Dunhuang and Hampi, I like Dunhuang. It’s exciting to visit this VR cultural preservation project.” A student shared her views after the visit. A group photo has been taken at the end of the site visit.
